Motion Desktop 1.5.2 released!
| Version 1.5.2 – October 25, 2026 | |
| Requirements This version requires macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. | |
| Bug Fix: | Fixed a crash when opening or preparing a video, including videos in Apple Photos albums while pictures are displayed. |
| Bug Fix: | Applied the same safe media-time conversion to playback progress, saved positions, background music, metadata, and video compression. |
| Bug Fix: | Restored crash-report discovery outside the sandbox with remembered read-only folder access, delayed retry checks, and a Check for Crash Reports command. Automatic access prompts appear only after a suspected unexpected exit; clean launches and first upgrades stay silent. |
| Bug Fix: | Offer only verified Motion Desktop crash reports for review, preserve the original logs, and avoid repeated prompts for reports already offered. |
