I have used Data Guardian (through at least one name change) for more than 10 years on Mac, PC and, more recently, iOS. I have used other personal database programs which I have often seen come and go. Data Guardian always works on both platforms and has been keeping track of contacts and other information faithfully and reliably for all this time. It is one program I use many times each week and have been doing so for all these many years. What other program can I say that about? Not too many come to mind.

I find this product superb. I have three databases set up in my Mac, and I use them for different things. One, I use it to organize my files and web sites. It makes for a secure web browsing experience. All of my favorite URL's a locked in a database. Two, I keep my secure information in it. My 401k account information, my checking, and my savings statements are all locked up in another database, linked to the database with the URL's and a password file. Easy to due, and it makes everything secure. Three, I write. I have had some short stories published. I keep the word docs locked in a third database. This is a really nice product that is simple to use and secure. I recommend it heartily.

Having officially entered the realm of "Old Farthood" I find simple chores like finding the remote and remembering a God-awful number of screen names and passwords ever more pressing. Finally, there's an app that's a snap to try, painless to buy, and works on the fly. Easier than keeping a key under a rock. Who'd a thunk? What will they think of next?
