Power Unlocked

With the power of Unix and the simplicity of Macintosh, you have a phenomenal amount of untapped power in your hands! Use MacPilot to unlock over 1,200 features, and access them all with the easy and familiar Macintosh user interface. No command line tools or complicated file operations!

Display hidden files in the Finder, disable the startup chime, add spacers and stacks to the Dock, change the screenshot file format, run maintenance tools, tweak network settings, force empty the Trash, and tons more. Keep yourself in awe and busy for days as you discover how much macOS has "under the hood".

We have gone to great lengths to incorporate a large volume of in-program assistance within MacPilot. Don't know what something does? Just hover over it with the mouse!

Do you manage a lab and want the same configuration across multiple computers? Create "save points" and deploy them on any number of computers.

Configured something by mistake and want it back to factory settings? Simply right-click the feature and choose "Set to Default" or click the main "Reset All" button on each tab.

The Wow Factor

Get out of the passenger seat and take control of your Mac. Set your login window picture, use the screensaver as your Desktop, modify advanced file permissions (ACL), change the system welcome message, enable simultaneous recordings in QuickTime, view system logs, or enable the Debug menu in numerous apps.

Or perhaps you're feeling the need for a simpler lifestyle? Disable the Notification Centre, virtual memory, Dashboard and iCloud saving. Ditch time-wasting graphical animations, prevent system sleep, suspend Safari's web caching, disable App Nap, remove the downloaded files warning message, and more!

Very useful tool

Oliver R. Minzloff

I've been using Mac Pilot for some years now, and it's become one of my most essential Apps for customising/tweaking my system. As each new release has come out over the years I just see it getting better and better. If you're looking for an all-in-one App, then Mac Pilot is the way to go. Very happy with this product! CET

Koingo has been essential to maintaining clean, great running Macs in my design companies for at least a decade. Even though we all love Apple, it still makes machines for masses. Koingo, especially with MacPilot, helps you tune your Mac so that it runs not just like Apple wants, but how you want. I use MacPilot to turn off the annoying start-up chime; to make Finder files visible; to engage manual system clean-ups; to disengage auto-invites you didn't even know were built into Messages; and other things that quirk-up my Mac and make it mine. In general, MacPilot gives me a view of my system that allows me to have something to compare it to when something goes wrong and Apple's snapshots are not enough. Terminal snobs, those folks who love to say they know how to go into the Apple command line, may raise an eyebrow because you use a tool like MacPilot: but I continue to learn about my Mac and its capabilities from what MacPilot shows me it can do. (I sometimes even learn about Mac software I didn't know about because a tweak to it was available in MacPilot.) Koingo products, including MacPilot, are one of the handful of essential Mac utility companies that are on every one of my start-up USBs, the first software I add after a clean install. My Macs never feel like they're in comfortable, accessible, trusted hands until I install Koingo.

Definitely one of the best utilities I've used several years.

I've heard of being able to modify the way your Mac works with terminal commands and messing around with all that stuff, but I've always been too afraid to try it. For that reason alone, I'm glad I discovered this app! MacPilot is a safe way to screw around and discover things you never even imagined were possible with your Mac. Don't like the modification you just did? Just click the button again. It's honestly that simple.

Landon Spears

I've been using this app since I was in diapers...well maybe? I happily admit I was a early adopter of this software...have up-graded every release...and find it a pleasure to use!
