These retail versions of our apps are intentionally not sandboxed to provide the most flexible user experience. For sandboxed versions, see our App Store editions.

I love how diverse this app can be. I use it for everything from passwords to contacts to a tool for reminders. I honestly couldn't ask for a more complete program for all the things I need. I highly recommend this! You won't be disappointed!

I create and store all user name and password combos for everything I access on the internet through use of this software, even for smart phone apps. I was recently tempted to switch to "One Password", but didn't see much difference, and didn't want to spend the extra time trying to export all of my data. One of the early versions of Data Guardian had a "clickable" button to allow the activation of the chosen URL. That feature was discontinued along the way, and I still miss it. I'd like to have such a feature made available again. I'll give a "5" rating if that is reinstated.

I now use DataGuardian for a few years. All passwords, website logins, bank and credit card codes, phonecodes, etc. are in a self-made template. A copy of the database is on my iPhone that is being synchronized weekly. Very useful and user-friendly program.

I manage a large number of sites with passwords for email, MySql, FTP, etc. Without Data Guardian I would have to either remember vast numbers of different user names and passwords (impossible) or resort to using the same ones on multiple sites. Data Guardian helps me use many different, complex passwords and store them safely.
