Common SMTP Server Settings

Some features in Alarm Clock Pro and other of our applications may require you to enter your Simple E-Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) e-mail server settings. These can be obtained by contacting your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Some ISPs also block port 25, so if you are attempting to send mail through your web host instead of your internet service provider, you may have to contact your server administrator for an alternative port. Additionally, be careful not to confuse Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) settings with SMTP — POP3 is used to receive mail, whereas SMTP is used to send mail.
