License Code Support
When a purchase for a software title is made on our web site, an e-mail containing a License Code is sent out within 1-2 business days. Usually, however, it is instant. If you have not received this e-mail, or have lost your License Code, please login to the customer account area of our web site. If you have lost your password for your account, you can also reset it here as well. Once logged in, click the applicable receipt and the license information will be displayed.
To enter a License Code into one of our products, choose "Enter License Code" from the program menu on Mac OS X, or the Help menu on Windows.

In the following window, enter the Buyer E-Mail (either assigned automatically or specified yourself during purchase) and the License Code and try the Activate Online option. If this fails, please read the following before contacting support:
- The License Code or e-mail address being entered does not match the same case as in the original license e-mail you were sent. By this, we mean that if your e-mail address is on our server in lowercase, you cannot type it in UPPERCASE to license the software. This includes even one letter of the wrong case in your e-mail address. The same goes for the License Code, which should be entirely lowercase.
- You may have an outdated version of the software installed. Please ensure you have the current version from koingosw.com. Otherwise, it is possible you have an outdated License Code. You can obtain a new one by logging into your Customer Account.
- If activating online, you may be told your information could not be validated with the Koingo Servers. This can mean a firewall, router, or port blocking application (such as Little Snitch) is refusing to allow our software title to verify your purchase with our web site. Temporarily disable this software, or plug into your internet connection directly and try again. If activating continues to fail, please phone us to activate manually or use our online form.
- It is also possible that the e-mail address you are using to register the software was not the same one as specified during purchase. This may be your PayPal address, if PayPal was used. If you do not remember the e-mail address used during purchase, we can look it up for you using your first and last name (as well as your method of purchase).
However, we cannot give you a License Code without verifying your identity. To verify your identity we require one of the following peices of ID:
- Scan of Photo ID
- Transaction ID, Date of Purchase, and Full Name on receipt
- E-Mail sent from the account on file requesting the license information
You can, regardless, login to your account yourself if you still have access to your e-mail account and obtain a current set of License Codes.
- Typos are another common cause for error. Aside from ensuring you are using the correct e-mail and License Code in the correct case, it's important to be careful when entering the information. For example, the number one and lowercase l's often are mistaken for the same character. Additionally, the same goes for the UPPERCASE letter 'O' and the number 0.
- You may be trying to register using your personal e-mail address when in-fact your purchase was made through a special promotion and you were assigned a customized Buyer E-Mail. One such example is the TechTracker Pro/MacFixIt promotion where buyers were assigned #######@versiontracker.com Buyer E-Mails.
